Applications

Plasticizer Manufacturing: It is the primary raw material for producing key plasticizers such as Dioctyl Phthalate (DOP), Dioctyl Adipate (DOA), and Dioctyl Sebacate (DOS), which are widely used in PVC and other polymers to enhance flexibility.
Chemical Intermediate: Used in the synthesis of various chemicals, including octyl acrylate (for coatings and adhesives), surfactants, defoamers, and lubricant additives.
Solvent & Coating Industry: Serves as a high-boiling solvent for paints, coatings, inks, and varnishes, improving film-forming properties and drying characteristics.
Other Industrial Uses: Applied in the production of mining flotation agents, textile auxiliaries, and as a raw material for certain perfumes and fragrances.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and open flames. The storage temperature should be kept below 30℃.
Keep the product in tightly sealed steel drums or original containers to prevent evaporation, contamination, and absorption of moisture.
Store separately from strong acids, strong oxidizing agents, and food/feed materials to avoid dangerous reactions or cross-contamination.
The storage area must comply with fire safety regulations, equipped with explosion-proof lighting and ventilation systems, and appropriate fire-fighting equipment.
